gone so long

So I realize that I haven't posted anything in months. I have been way too busy. This whole getting married thing kinda puts a hold on anything I would normally be doing...I haven't read a book other than how to be a good wife books from our pre-marital counseling classes in like six months. My car hasn't been washed in about 5. I never have time to blog...or really do anything else for that matter. Working, keeping the house clean, and wedding planning are what my days consist of. I am finally one month out though and keeping my fingers tightly crossed that I will get everything I still need to do done and in a month I can go back to cooking wonderful foods and blogging and dare I say it?? a little me time to relax without having a panic attack because I forgot about something silly I need for the wedding. Well just a brief update for everyone I happen to only be awake right now because sleep evades me. Might try to squeeze in just a bit more before I have to go to work. Recently I have been teaching myself to cook and I love it I love cooking and making yummy things. Before all I could do was bake and while I was damn good at it I couldn't cook chicken to save my life! Now I can cook all kinds of cool shit. It's pretty fabulous =)

Catching up

So I know I my posts have been very sporadic but I have been busy and lazy....Any how I am planning my wedding which is mucho stressful. We have an official date though! November 23, 2011. Going along with family tradition to be married on the 23rd of November it just seemed to work as the perfect date.

I bought my uber expensive dress sigh....but I love it so thats good right?

I have started my garden with pretty flowers and my topsy turvy tomato plant.

I have finished school!!! Yay!! I still need to call and ask if I can take ne

xt semester off. Been cooking a lot. Oh yeah I quit target the job from hell and am looking

for something else with little luck...But I have started to look in restaurants again which isn't what I want to do but I am a waitress and I am damn good at it...well kinda lol ;)

...Oh and this weekend off to Tucson for wedding planning a whole long weekend of it and hopefully a lot of choices will be made!!!

I need to start doing some of the blogger stuff that my sister does. Like the lists or thirty days of photos because I get lazy and don't post for a long time. Well update I dyed my blonde hair blackish blue. I have decided I hate my job and not even because it's so early mostly because I think it just doesn't suit me very well. Boyfriend and I have started running every other day which has been really hard but yesterday was the first day I didn't almost throw up when we got done! I got way ahead in my history class and as for français I hate it =P but I did really good on all my assignments last lesson. Tomorrow boyfriend and I are going to a comic book show if I get out of work in time and then that night we are going to a baseball game! Well I guess that is all for now. My birthday is in nine days! yay!

Smoking

I have tried to quit smoking several times over the past five years. Obviously unsuccessful if I am trying to quit once again. usually its not too hard for me to give up initially but then a few weeks or so in I get sick of not being able to smoke when I want (usually when I am anxious). I have decided against using patches (they make me sick), gum (it makes me sick too) or pills (I don't like the idea of the suicidal side effect) so instead I use menthol cough drops, sun flower seeds, and drink lots of water! I quit this last Sunday somewhat on a whim. I had been planning to try again soon but Sunday morning I lit up the last of my pack and said to myself ya know what this is it you are going to quit. I haven't had one since and while I am proud of myself today has been rough with some serious withdrawal symptoms. Lovely bf is going to quit too he is suppose to be not smoking anymore when I pick him up from the airport tomorrow. I think it's very sweet he is going to try to stop too because I don't know that I could stop with another smoker in the house. Wish me luck and patience!

3 more days!

So my boyfriend come home in three days! I super can't wait. I think it's the hardest when its so close to when he gets home. All that anticipation ya know. Spending the other week at home with my parents was really nice. The gem show was in town so I got lots of neat stuff there and spent most of my week relaxing and hanging out with my little fur sis dedra and chunky.

I started work last week and I'm not gonna lie I was really nervous! Getting up at 3 to be to work by 4 is scary lol but I actually dont have to much trouble doing it and I like the fact that I am around like 10 and can start my day or take a nap ;)

One less day to go

I know I haven't up dated in a little while so here is a mini update

I'm down to 18 days till boyfriend gets home!!! yay!

I fly to Tucson on Wednesday night for a few days to visit mommy, daddy, and friends.

I come home Monday and get to be stupid girls with S because her bf will be gone for Vday too.

Tomorrow I need to do massive homework and cleaning and other house girlfriend duties

Oh PS got a job at target!!! I start when I get home from Tucson

Our First Date

Well you may know that I met my lovely boy on New Years Eve 2010...and funny as it sounds we have never been on a real date. I guess thats what happens when you fall in love long distance you just kinda see eachother when you can and who cares if its a "date". So This New Years Eve he took me on our first date ^_^

It started at the Aquarium

Then it got very cold (thats says -1)

next we got all fancy and went to the pub I warn the series of pictures to follow goes from sober to drunk

So all and all it was the best most perfectest first date ever <3

Home?

I am still getting used to calling Albuquerque home. We left Colorado after a fun filled week with the bf's family and returned home to the kitties who missed us terribly. We had a good time in colorado and spent new years together. New Years is sort of our anniversary so bf took me to the aquarium (our first date) in colorado which was awesome we had dinner there and then went to a little brewery for drinks and our midnight kisses! Of course just my luck upon returning home I caught a nasty cold and have been spending time trying to stay warm and recuperate. I was planning a menu list for the next few weeks so that I could make some awesome dinners when, bf returned home from work with some not so awesome news. It looks like the training he was going to be doing in march got moved up and he is leaving Monday for six weeks. Then of course monday came and his flight was canceled YAY! but he still had to leave eventually and left Wednesday. =( Not exactly how I had planned things kinda hard knowing I am going to be in this new place alone for the next month and a half but I have to make the best of it and just remember it's only six weeks and then he will be back home with me. Talk about a rough break. Sigh. Well looks like I'll be spending the next few weeks looking for a job and trying to get started in school which starts on the eighteenth. At least I will have things to keep me busy.
